A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR…
I can’t tell you how excited I was to share a sneak peek of Moving Together, a film I’ve been working on since 2018. This documentary is about collaboration, celebrating the arts, and the power of community. It was made with the help of so many different artists in Austin’s dance and film scenes, so to share this film with those communities felt incredibly special. Thank you so much for the continued support!”

Maggie M. Bailey is an award-winning producer and director, working in film, video, and photo. After 6 years working as a professional dancer, Bailey transitioned into filmmaking. Her documentary work investigates the cross between movement and camera, promotes sex positivity, and explores unheard voices and niche communities. Her films have screened in festivals both nationally and internationally including SXSW, Frameline, DOC NYC, Atlanta Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, EnergaCAMERIMAGE, BAMcinemaFest, CineKink, Sidewalk Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortsFest, and more. She recently completed her MFA in Film and Media Production from the University of Texas at Austin. Moving Together is Bailey's feature film directorial debut.

A NOTE FROM BLiPSWiTCH…
”The collaborations celebrated in the film speak wholeheartedly to the process, relationships and community that we endeavor to cultivate in our own works, and it was a joy to see that played out on screen. Working with Maggie is always a pleasure, whether behind the camera or as a dance artist, and we are grateful and honored to have played a small part in the process of making this film a reality and then sharing it with the Austin community.”
